Favourite ebook reader?

Ever since the last update to Aldiko I can't use it any more. It no longer displays italics and the covers display all messed up.

I tried Coolreader but can't seem to find a shelf view in it.

Mantano is not available in the market for me

I might give FBreader a go.

Any others I should look at?

Does Go Book work in landscape mode? I can't find an option. Also I'd like to import my books from Aldiko but can't figure out how to do that either.

FB Reader won't work for me; it crashes every time I run it.
I can't live without italics so unless Aldiko sorts itself out that's gone
Go Book has no useful options and I think I'l ditch it
Cool Reader would be nice if it had a shelf

Still no all-round winner though

Just downloaded it to test.

There is a landscape mode. When in a book, press the menu button and select the mode using the far-left button. There doesn't appear to be a landscape mode in the shelf view though.

Press the menu button at the shelf view to select the Import option. Just browse to where you have your Aldiko books stored from there.

Yep, got it to import the books (just had to browse for a while to find out where Aldiko stored them). I can't be having with the shelf in portrait view though, same with the way the updated Aldiko starts in portrait - completely stupid; surely most people will use a tablet to read books rather than a phone?

Nice interface, has a shelf view and lots of options for sorting
Portrait/Lanscape mode for interface and books.
Handles covers correctly
Displays italics
Syncs to cloud or other devices
Easy to increase/decrease font and displays up to three page on screen at once
Can add notes and highlighting

Cons
Relatively few options
No tap to turn page that I can see
Reformats paragraphs by removing indents and creating a new line
