Omega Deployment for Speedmaster

Id say it is legit. Watchco Australia have been around a while and do / did a lot of Omega stuff. There are a good few threads on watchuseek and TZ-UK about them.

As for it being correct for a Speedy I dont know. I didnt think there was a difference between the deployant for a Speedy strap and lets say a PO strap.

Cheers Mitch. It looks like a good price on this. He indicates that it's a Speedmaster deployment but I've seen them described for 20mm and 16mm straps. Maybe I should just send him a message.

Here is the same buckle on ofrei. It's the first one on the list according to the Omega ref number on the eBay listing.
Genuine Omega New Style Fold-Over 16 MM Deployment Buckle features a push-button release clasp. The Omega 16 mm deployment buckle fits only special Omega deployment clasp straps, which are 16 mm at the point where the straps meets the buckle. [\quote]

Yeah I've been doing a bit of research and you can buy straps that go from 20mm at lug which narrows down to 16mm at the buckle.

Looks like the same deployant I have on an Aqua Terra, A PO XL and a Speedy. The key is getting a strap to match the lugs and the clasp. The OEM ones definitely taper down although I haven't measure them. I have dark tan, chestnut and black all croc OEM straps. The Speedy is a white faced Alaska Project and is on a black croc. I much prefer it to the bracelet.
