I took a chance with buying an old Pentax MZ 7, as the MZ 50 has given such beautiful results over the years. Having tried out a Canon film camera, I found the results much more "documentary" in style and less magical, probably because the Canon prime lenses I used were so sharp.

However, I'm still on the lookout for a light weight Canon film body, as recent as possible. Experts would be able to point out if there are many differences in results from cameras made in different years. To me, everything seems to rely on the lens.

A thread, perhaps, for anolog users?

Would a Canon EOS 100f be of any use to you. I have no idea how well it works as I have never used it myself. I was given it by someone a while back as they no longer wanted it.
