I'd like to see Sonia, Szabo and Ribeiro (from the golden generation of European distance running) race against Defar and Dibaba in a championship race (no pacemakers) over 5000m.

Grete Waitz, and Ingrid Kristianson against Paula Radcliffe over the marathon in a non paced race. Remember their times were from the 80s. Who knows how fast the 2 of them would go if they were around now.

To me this is the pick of the bunch. May just go with Rudisha. He seems to still be developing. They guy is a monster. Coe I think was probably 1:41.20 at best with good pacers.
