    just noticed this on my statement....
    used my card twice in sainsburys, newry within 15 min of each transaction.


    20/03/2012 SAINSBURYS S/MKT NEWRY GB
    gbp 42.82 RATE: 0.8144

    20/03/2012 SAINSBURYS S/MKTS NEWRY 538 GB
    gbp 8.40 RATE: 0.8147

    not questioning the rate,
    but the increase in 15 min?
    anyone know how they get this rate or how often it changes?

    It's not Sainsburys rate, it's your card issuers rate (ie your bank).
