Week in Salou

I was recently quoted €1722 for a week in Salou, for flights, appartment transfers and studio appartment, for my wife, two children and myself, starting July 2nd. Does this seem ok?

Hey Ceekay,

9 of us, 5 adults & 4 kids, stayed in Hotel La Caribe beside Portaventura. It cost us €6480 :eek:
But it was for flights, transfers, studio and half board. it also included anytime access to the theme park which costs a fair bit on it's own.

This was through Falcon and it was for the week before you are going and we were told that it was a good deal because the UK kids get their hols at end of June so prices go up in July.

What's the board basis? Is it self catering, full/half board or All-inclusive?

When you consider the time of year, there won't be that many great deals to be had anyway.

Thanks guys for the replies. The board basis is self catering. It also dosen't include entrance to the theme park or the aquapark. I am just shopping around and I'm not strictly tied to depart on July 2nd. I am not used to booking holidays and am trying to consider to go all inclusive with a tour operator or by trying to book everything separate myself. The aqua park is opened from the start of June until September. Open to suggestions from experienced holiday people!
