    i wish to draw around 15,000 cash, would i have to give bank/building society notice of this??

    even for a few thousand you cant be sure they would have it as funny enough banks dont like having too much money around the place tempting violent criminals to rob the place.

    Why not get a bank draft? Would that suit you?

    i want a cash with drawel,i suppose i could give bank prior notice of this,in case they would have not sufficient funds on the day

    FYI some banks will not permit such a large cash withdrawal no matter how much notice you give:

    At the very least you may have a lot of hassle so give yourself plenty of time to get it done.
