    Hi all,

Quick q's re a power rack. Do you know if the below one would be suitable for bench and doing pull-ups on (using an olympic bar)? The bigger power racks are too pricey / take up too much room, so if getting one would prefer this one...

My plan is prob to get olympic bar and plates first, then this power rack on my wish list for down the line along with a bench.

    Thanks!
    Simon

In think the answer is no on both.
If cost and space is an issue, get 2 builders tressles, they can be used for bench, squats, dips, they take up very little room and you can get them very cheap.

That's a squat stand, not a power rack. Not suitable for doing all the extra lifts you can do in a squat/power rack/cage imo.

Door frame pull-up bar is a chaep solution for pull-ups btw

I got a door frame pull up bar. Cost about 30 euros delivered.

I'm also looking for a squat rack that also has adjustable spotter bars which can be used for bench press. They seem pretty expensive to buy. I was thinking about buying the matetial myself and getting a welder to put it together for me. Does anyone have any experience doing this? I have a drawing. I'll post up soon.
