This latest idea by big blundering Phil to give less funds to Councils that don't have a high rate of payment of the household charge is unfair. Where does it leave the people of that particular county that did pay. Its 2 fingers to them.

Their hypocracy on this issue is astounding.

One rule north of the border, different rule down here.

Presumably the 'Shave or Dye' campaign TodayFM run to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

What's annoying me about this whole affair is that I'm seeing the cracks appear between the public & specifically the hardcore wont-pays giving agro to those who have. Not healthy for divisions to appear between the general public, and just ultimately creates more divide between communities

Donegal is at risk of becoming a place like what Boris Johnson once referred to Liverpool as.

A place where people wallow in their own sense of victimhood and self pity.

Caomhín O Caolán had a go at Pat's wages this morning, when Pat asked him how funding would be provided if people were not to pay the household charge (as the Shinners are encouraging)... O'Caolán responded by saying that people on higher wages "like yourself" should be taxed more...

So no doubt Pat will be passive aggressively be getting his own back.

And it got really bad when he was saying how much they got paid!!A lot of them more willing to voice opinion than before the 31st. Do they now realise that even those that paid will penalised for the shambolic way this was executed.
