Programming Related Question about organising files

I'll cut to the chase, I download a lot of ****, from warez sites and torrents. Frankly I download too much, but as I'm abroad all of my tv comes from the Internet.

Probably is I'm disorganised as ****, and sorting out my external hard drive and the laptop would take a fair few hours I'd imagine.

I had an idea, if you've any better way to do this by all means.

I was wondering if there was a quick, painless way to tag video files I'd just seen. So if I had watched a tv show, I could right click and press a tag button that added a small tag onto the filename... a dos script could search for files with these tags and dump them into the correct folder... meaning my download folders would only have shows/movies I haven't seen...

Please if you have an alternative by all means go for it...

If your constructive criticism ends at organise yourself at the beginning, blah blah, don't waste your time.
