I have a large ceiling unit ( nice glass) that has gone flashing, I was thinking

of stripping out the current components and replacing them with new ones

from a similar sized plastic unit , 2D four pin 38W. Costing €49.

Any ideas / suggestions on this , I know next to nothing about lights or

their components, but guess a straight transfer should be OK?.

I'v changed the starter and the bulb with no success, still wont come on

and stay on , just keeps flashing. hence idea to strip and replace.
