Car blower losing heat

I have a 2006 Audi A4 and I have a problem with the air blower.

It seems to take at least 15 minutes to heat up and even then the heat isn't great. But the real problem is that it loses all heat after another 10 to 20 minutes and goes cold.

Is there any ideas about what's behind this? I thought itmight be a faulty thermostat but someone told me it could be as simple as a clogged cabin filter and to replace it.

Does the heater blower work as it should? What's the coolant level like?

heater works as it should except for the temperature. Not very good with cars but looked a few tests for a stick thermostat. Will have a look at that when I get home.

First and most obvious thing to check is your coolant level.
