Ohh god yes. One of the finest car chase scenes going.

Not an american car in sight. Plain old euro cars. Plus a the gorgeous Citroen XM V6

Best chase. In HD too :D:D:D

And the reason I have an Audi S8 (and um, 2 e34's)! My S8 is the pre-facelift like the film, the 32v one the yanks never got.
I think the S8 in the movie is dark green though.

    Sadface

Why do that. I love them, we had a 1,9 petrol one and it was a flyer. It drank petrol though.

Determined to find a BX/XM/CX (Sur Le Pont in johnstown bridge has a CX lurking out back) when I get a proper job. There will be 4 citroens in the house then :D

Down the road from me were 2 1989 BX's (don't know the engines they had) on blocks. Gone a few years... More than likely there are a few in barns and sheds around the country :)

Last time I saw a BX was in Dublin a few weeks ago... Was a 1993 BX Break!

You mean it's not really him doing the driving???

I thought that after Bullitt, all actors did their own driving. ;)

    Trivia from IMDB
Skipp Sudduth requested to do his own stunt driving during the car chases and John Frankenheimer agreed. Frankenheimer told Sudduth "I don't wanna see any brake lights."

Steve McQueen did most of the stunt driving in Bullitt (and in most of his films)

In Ronin there were LHD and RHD cars used. I have the dvd which shows the adapted cars. When it shows DeNiro, its actually a RHD car mirrored :pac:
