Anybody know any good dressmakers in town (Dublin)? It's a weird job: I need to be measured for a bridesmaid's dress which is due to be ordered by the bride in Oz.
    Any thoughts?

There is a guy called Jude Hughes in middle Abbey Street who made a dress for me a few years ago.

just measure bust, waist, hips and nape to waist. that's the boney bit on back of neck to smallest point of waist. then waist to ground. when measuring bust go across middle of bust leaving room that you should be able to get a finger inside the tape. same goes for hip and waist. Also record measurements in centimeters and inches.
