As the title says. This isn't a thread to post a load of youtube tunes but mash 3 lines from 3 songs from 3 artists that suit your mood and have moved you this week.

    For me:

They broke my thrown and they cut my hair, you give all your hours for a handful of dimes but it's better to burn out than to fade away.

Guessing who and what songs gets extra kudos.

Jeff Buckley and Neil Young for the first and third bits.

    Hallelujah and Rust Never Sleeps

The middle bit is familar but without googling it all I can say is I think it is from the early 1970's or late 1960's. Probably going to kick myself when I find out who it is. TRex or maybe the Kinks?

"Set fire to the preacher who is promising us hell"

"We must memorize nine numbers and deny we have a soul"

"I’m happy just because I found out I am really no one"

3 lines from my favourite Bright Eyes track - At the Bottom of Everything.

Yep you are correct. I had mixed up the album title and the song title.
