    That's an invalid url.

I got the ebay jobbie, couple of friends have them and they are the job, cost in around €70 iirc

Maybe take a look on Deal Extreme, they have a section for vehicle trackers and the prices are usually pretty good.

I don't think my current car is on any thieves shopping list but I'd still like a tracker at some point.
Some of them feature separate antennas for GPS and Cellular signals, this might be a good thing when you consider a car is a large lump of metal.
I'm still looking for some reviews similar to those by techmoan on youtube, Perhaps I will ask him if he has any plans to review trackers.

All new cars should come fitted with these as standard. I'm still shocked at how many people buy €50,000+ worth of a car and then refuse to pay a few hundred to keep it tracked.

I have no experience with the cheaper tracker devices as shown above but I have seen some of the more expensive systems which are monitored by a company in the UK and the information received from them is received in almost real time. If you value your car in any way then it is a must have.

For me it would entirely depend on who stole it as to whether I would want the car back. If it was robbed by local scrotes to rally to death and generally wreck I never ever want to see the car again and in most cases your insurance company will give you new for new exchange on a brand new car. If the car is stolen to order for cloning or export out of the country then I would be interested in finding it as it would most likely be intact. The tracker may cause more financial loss than benefits for a new car. I've also heard of thieves carrying gps jammers which will make the tracker worthless.

just get an andriod phone and conceal in the boot somewhere, hook power into it and leave it track away.

you can monitor it from your pc.. for gratis

I understand the sentiment behind that chain of thought. But, if you have a tracker and discover your car stolen relatively quickly it can/will be recovered within minutes/hours. Personally I would rather have the car back within hours than go through weeks of hassle with insurance companies.
