accessed site I shouldnt have

    I have accessed an e-mail account that doesn't belong to me, and am very ashamed. I sthere a way of anyone telling that I accessed the account? The internet connection is wireless throughout the office, and the mail I accessed has a common server. Can this be traced back to me?
    Ive deleted my browsing history on the computer, but can someone trace that the account was accessed in this building?

    Depends on the software, log settings and indeed the IT crowd checking the logs. ;)

    Yes in most cases they can. Did you mean to access the e-mails?

    is it a communal laptop or your own?

    did you access your own email during the same session?
