    Hey there,

I'm building up an old Peugeot frame and have a problem with the rear derailleur hanger- its threaded for Simplex derailleurs only.
I need to get a workshop to 'tap the thread' to a standard Shimano thread. Does anyone know a shop capable/willing to do this or is it a standard enough job?

    Cheers:)

Would you not just get an adapter. Mine works a treat.

I'd imagine the original hanger would get in the way. The french ones are a smaller diameter then the Campag hangers.

Better off getting it tapped imo
