the FunDo resource has lots of stuff in it

for Under 8 and Under 10 you really need to concentrate on the basics

    holding the hurley correctly
    dribbling
    blocking
swinging (focussing on sliding the hand and the lock position)
tackling on the ground (flicking and shoulder to shoulder clash)
striking the ball on ground (stationary)
    moving to ball and striking

this is a great little club website

Tyres are excellent for U8 & U10. Get them to hold the hurley correctly and striking left & right on either side of the tyre. Have seen kids develop their grip & ground strike very rapidly using this method.

Also if you can get hold of a "sliotars on a rope". They're great as it means you don't have to be collecting sliotars & replacing them for the next kid : http://www.fbgaamc.com/kpexhib5.jpg

    these are very good

and this is great for the shoulder clash, improving correct swing, practicing batting, blocking

tyres are good up to a certain point.
however, it can cause kids to get used to swinging too high, and so they 'top' the ball.
if you attach balls to tyres with elastic rope.
