Hi! Happy Friday!

trek 1500 slr? has full ultegra though. usually around the 400-500 mark

Thanks lads!
I am thinking of spending roughly 1K...could go up to max 1.4K!
Few of the lads I cycle with are saying Canyon, Planet X are great value: a high spec for your money.
Seems trek, specialised & bigger brands are quite expensive!

I just purchased a bianchi via nerone 7. Carbon front forks, carbon rear stay. Carbon seat post. Full 105 bar the rear dérailleur which is ultegra.

I payed 1450 for it. Lovely bike.

Mackey, I would say its a lovely bike: will check it out later..!
I suppose realistically I could put aside 1K: with some fasting, less 'socialising' etc..

I like the look of that Canyon Roadlite: I wonder how it compares to equivalent spec trek, specialised ...

Hey Instinct: that Cube Peleton is a nice bike: but looks very similar to my Cube Agree GTC Race 2010-2011...
Cubes are great bikes though!

Ribble are selling their winter training bike with 105 for €934 delivered.

Having said that, i'd go for the canyon roadlite.

None of those bikes have braze-ons for mudguards, if it's for winter training. You could go with race blades but properly attached mudguards require less fiddling.
