myself and a few lads are going to play arklow golf links, woodenbridge & coollattin next week, has anyone any views on the courses, as none of us have played any of them.

You're in for a treat. 3 great golf courses, but I am a little biased :) You will love each of them for different reasons.

3 very good courses. Arklow a strong links with an excellent finishing stretch of holes, struggled with course condition last year but I hear it's getting good again, woodenbridge is in a beautiful part of the world and has some absolutely stunning holes, excellent trek and can't really think of any weak holes, maybe only 1. I've always liked coolatin too, again a great setting, in grounds of an old country house estate, very enjoyable course and a very friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse. If you can manage to stick the European Club on to that trip you'll have the ideal golfing trip of southwest county Wicklow!!

I've been telling so many people about this deal, it really is fantastic and the Woodenbridge Hotel is a great base for your trip.

I'm a member myself in Coollattin and it is a lovely track on the beautiful ex-Fitzwilliam Estate. Not too difficult for the social golfer and manicured to perfection.

PS if you want some tee-times in Macreddin while you're down in this part of the country, PM me.
