Croí's local directory

    just a heads up that Croí have published a small booklet \ directory of local services, clubs, facilities, etc that people might find handy, i came across it in a doctor's waiting room this morning, some good info in it. not sure where else it's available bar doctors' waiting rooms though..!

    Why would a charity waste money on publishing a directory of local services which will probably be obsolete within a month or two? Doesn't make sense really.....:confused:

    Because some people don't use the interwebz.

    The charity may need to keep the background database anyway, for its own use. So the extra costs may be layout / DTP (which a staff member may do) and printing (may be paid for by advertising or sponsorship in kind).

    I dunno if it's case or not. But it might be.
