DBA question on tablespaces(Oracle)

Can I create and update/insert into tables while a tablespace is been increased in size?
I have a job to run that will drop some tables, create new ones, some inserts and deletes. But I know the DBA's are to increase the size of the tablespace that these tables are(will) exist in.
Will there be a problem if one kicks off while the other is happening?

    No, you will be fine.

Increasing a tablespace size is really only adding a datafile and this can be done while the database is up and running and DML/DDL actions are in progress.
