Gas boiler servicing step by step?

Hi guys, a lot of my clients are asking me about servicing their gas boilers but i've never done it before, I'm only out on my own since Feb, my old boss never serviced boilers so I never got to do it. What i have been hearing a lot of is plumbers coming in hoovering out the heat exchanger & charging €85 to €100 for this "service". Could ye give me a heads up on what i should be doing as part of a service, as far as i know from doing the RGI a few years ago, gas rating the appliance & Flue gas analysis is part of it but what else, inhibitor,more..?

Are you an RGI ??? Would you really expect a reply to this on a open public forum.

Suggest you look back at your books or the MI for the boiler your looking at servicing.

there is a specific course you can do for service and repair once you are gid and rgi registered.
do the training for the basics
