I was wondering if all of the speed camera vans now in use are marked as described in the garda.ie website. Earlier this week there was a white high roof ford transit van parked up at the side of the dual carriageway between the Tuam Road and Terryland roundabout in Galway with no markings on it.

Official Garda vehicles are plain white with the garda logo on the side. Its the outsourced private "Go Safe" vans that have the reflective markings. Both will do you for speeding as easily as the other.

Garda GATSO vans aren't marked and go safe survey vans aren't either. There's also a mega thread covering this if you search for it.
