    Thanks

I would say ballpark €500 for the parts per axle, then could be €150-€200 to fit. That's pads, discs and calipers, you have to replace in pairs and new discs need new pads or they will damage them.

You have to replace pads / discs in pairs, I don't see why you should replace both calipers if only one is causing trouble though.

I'd imagine you can get reconditioned calipers

    Caliper repair kit @ c. 20 sheets
Drilled and grooved discs from fleabay @ c. 150 queenheads set

    OR from brakeparts.co.uk

    c. 30 queenheads for a standard disc and
    75 queenheads each for calipers

(sorry, just realised you asked for Irish parts/prices)

I got a great set of drilled/grooved discs for my Ls400 from ebay and rebuilt the calipers myself. Great job and massive cost saver.

Thanks everyone. Only have the money together today to get the car back. €700 they're looking for. I'm not being totally done then considering I need a new tyre too and 4 new pads. They're knackered

Thankfully I have my 10% AA discount with them which will knock 70 off
