    We have all heard the success stories on the TV program. So, I guess it works for some. But how many does it work for in the longer term.

    What about those who took part in OT say 5 years ago?
    How many have maintained weight loss?
    Does anyone know?

    Last year's leaders were on one of the episodes this year. I didn't watch last year to compare but the clip from this year should still be on the RTE Player.

    I personally think they try to lose a bit too much each week, Killian lost a stone I think in the first week, although they don't try to focus as much on rapid weight loss as other shows like The Biggest Loser do. Apparently Dr Eva's clinic advocate even more severe calorie restrictions to her private patients.
