I turned 18 at the start of the month and would like to vote in the Treaty on May 31st.

How do I register to vote?
As far as I can understand, is there two forms to fill out, or what?

I've had a look at Citizens Information website but don't 100% understand it.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Apologies for the hi-jack, but I've a son who turns 18 on May 25th, how would he be fixed?

One I think, the RFA2 on this site: http://www.vote.ie/register!.html, I assume that means you get added to the Supplementary register and then you are on permanently.

By the looks of that link it would be within the 15 days notice that is needed.

He'll be 18 on the day of the election, so you can always try registering anyways provided there are no other elections in may.

Ask the registrar, their offices are usually up on your local council website.
