Spraying Silage Ground

Right at the moment cows are grazing the silage ground which will be then fertilized and closed for silage.
POA is Fertilizer, Roll(where necessary) and then spray for docks and weeds in once regrowth begins.
Is this correct or advisable? Can any of ye recommend clover friendly sprays?
If the ground was not tightly grazed before fertilizer would it be advisable to give it a good grazing again in 2/3 weeks time and then close?
Aim to cut around Mid-late June

You'll get a better response from your spray if you spray 3 weeks after cutting silage, when all the weeds have plenty of fresh leaves.

Silage is better quality in late May, by mid june you've a lot more stem. I'd be very slow to graze it in 3 weeks.... I'd sooner cut it in May and you've the summer to be grazing it.

I think you should spray now and then wait the required time before cutting. Some sprays only require a week/10 days before you can cut.

You will delay getting started on reseed if you have to wait for old regrow before spraying.

Spray it any day now you like, and as Muckit said mow it in a week or ten days.
It will have started to turn in colour. The last we done was knocked 9 days after spraying. It made the finest of stuff.

If you delay you will have a lot more trash to bury when you go to reseed
