Roadworks by black ash park and ride

    Traffic was chaotic by the park and ride this evening due to roadworks. Anyone know when these are due to finish?
    There is no mention of it on the road closures section of the corkcity.ie web site.

    Are they really doing something there? I thought that the road is closed because the traffic lights on South Ring rd are not working (it would make sense, because if cars are going 80-120kmh it is really not easy to enter the junction safely)

    yeah the lights at the dump were flashing orange for traffic on the link this morning, and they were off altogether at 6pm, im pretty sure they were working at around 2pm,
    it would be mayhem if someone tried to get out onto the link heading towards the kinsale roundabout with no lights!


    edit: sorry i posted basically the exact same thing the poster above did!!
