BMW 520D SE E60 power gone. help !!!!!!

    i have a 2006 e60 se 520d and it lost its power.I brought it to delear who said it was particle filter which was cleaned out and put back in. i was then told to drive in 4th gear for 160km- 200km at 80 mph to rejuvinate filter. Done this and no great change performance has improved but not by much any suggestions please my head is melted!!!!!!!!!!

    Not an expert, but if you have seen slight improvement from the dpf i would think your egr is blocked.

    Did the dealer clear any fault codes?
    It may be that the car is in some form of safe/limp home mode, and you won't have full power until the error code is cleared from the cars ECU.

    Im not a BMW owner, so im just surmising. Lots of e60 owners on here though - I'm sure someone else can give a more informed opinion.
