Need a quick reply here, I'm looking to buy a Airsoft gun from two sites, one in the UK and another in the US. Its the full gun though. nes second hand the other first hand.
Is it possible to order them to here in Ireland? Or is there restricting laws..
I can't find this gun here and no one is opting to sell theres here in Ireland, So if I buy it will it be possible? Or will it be seized?

Buting from overseas? - tbh I have never tried web cam sex but hey.... why not like? :D

In seriousness though , yeah at the moment its ok. Only thing is you have to make sure the FPS is under 320 which equates to 1 joule in energy. As long as it is under you can expect customs to open it and charge 23% of the value of the gun and p&p combined on to of what you have already paid.

If its listed as over its a firearm and you WILL be prosectuted unless your hold a firearms license. If its over 1j from teh factory perhaps the retailer will downgrade it for you. Alternativly you can contact a local retailer and see if they will import and downgrade it for you.

Thanks for the fast reply, much appreciated.
The gun i'm aiming to get is 240FPS, That should be okay.
So, When I buy it, when it reaches here I'l be charged 23% more on it?
    and that it then...
    Or any more charges?
I don't have a license so yeah, Hope that it wont come to all that.

Just thought it was important to point out that it is 328, not 320. More importantly, that's 328 with a 0.2g BB. 328 with a .25g BB is over the Joule.

    What about 240FPS with 0.34g 8mm BBs?

As zomg said just make sure its under 1joule and you'll be ok. 240fps on .2g is fine. As for other charges - nope , their shouldnt be any. All in you'll pay for the gun, shipping and then the customs vat @ 23% of the cost.

Things are easier to import from inside the EU, however just take reasonable precautions to ensure the gun is firing below the legal limit.

I assume it is the Marushin 8mm M1 Garand? If so, then as long as it is unmodified you are fine! Marushin are a Japanese manufacturer and are subject to the same power restrictions as us, but much stricter - as such they do not spike over the limit out of the box, but god only knows who's done what since
