Is it possible to unlock an Emobile iphone 4s?

I'm a bit confused about all this unlocking lark!

I have a locked E Mobile iPhone 4s....

Can it be unlocked so i can use my vodafone sim?

I see a lot of providers online that claim to be masters at this!!!

Need Help....!!!

Any help would be great

iclarified.com tells you the options for each phone if you go into tutorials. If you're on the most recent firmware you may not be able to unlock, and neither will most of the "specialists" that advertise.

Prepay or billpay?
If prepay, once you spend above a certain amount of credit they should unlock it for you themselves.
If billpay, you need to finish out your contract.

It's my brothers phone contract with e mobile. He got an upgrade but he let me have the new phone. Contract doesn't end for 2 years!!

That's why i'm hoping to unlock/jail break...

if its iOS 5.1 you are probably stuck with it locked to eMobile for a while
