Irish placement for OCP

I need to do a placement in Irish for next year and despair at the thought of it! Any Irish students go to the Gaeltacht instead of doing an Irish placement?

I've heard of people who have done it in Gaelscoileanna or Gaelcholáistí as assistants, have you considered that?
