With over 500,00 Apps in the android market and most of them are crap.

I hope through responses on this thread I and others may find out new Apps that we haven't seen or heard of..

What is your favourite App and why?

My favourite/useful App is "Airplane" because I always put my phone in to Airplane mode every night to save battery life and wont be woken up by emails during the night. I had to click through 3 different menus to activate and deactivate Flight mode and with this App i have it on my homescreen and just one simple click ;)

Using this application every day, it takes me about 5mins to download a movie.
    Sgs2. 25mb upc broadband, 700mb file size.
The funny thing is it would take my laptop approximately 20mins to download the same movie.
    Titanium backup for applications management.
Extreme call blocker for managing calls coming in, blocking private calls etc
Viber for quality of phone calls, the app is just perfect for ringing around the world.
Had Skype before but it let me down with phone calls clarity so it wasn't for me.
ACV. for reading comic books, it works on every format
Adfree for getting rid of all advertising.
    Myfitnesspal for counting food calories
    and many, many more.

And your best contribution is Airplane?
