So,what premier league players past or present have you admired or maybe wanted to see line out for your own team?

For me it has to be Matt Le Tissier.
Outrageous goals, some of the best to grace the league and sublime skills.
The man was a genius with the ball at his feet,a big heavy lazy genius :D

Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp. Best two players to play in Premier league imo. Always admired Gerrard too

I enjoy players who are overindulged at other clubs, you get to see the best of them as individuals at the expense of a rival club :)

Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, John Terry, Gavin Henson etc..

Last year was probably Fabregas or Seamus Coleman. This season players like Dempsey and Mata I've enjoyed watching.

    Liverpool Fan.

    Past: Roy Keane. No Contest.

    Present: Torres.

Yep I still haven't got over Torres. A lot of Liverpool fans hate him but I think he was treated badly by the club and had no choice but to leave. I think he could a monster of a player again if the right manager takes over Chelsea and they start to play to his strengths.

Present: Bale - Classy player, possibly the most technically gifted in the premier league, when he is on form.

Past: Berkamp - not sure we will ever see his like in the EPL again, truely world class of the kind you don't see that much of these days.

I always liked a player like a Zidane who can pull the strings and dictate the direction of games for 90 minutes.

Not even the most technically gifted at Spurs, never mind the PL.

I don't really care what you think to be honest. You also going on ignore now because you strike me as one of these people who follow posters around threads to have a dig at them. Bye.

THFC is nothing like that and he's 100% correct in what he says, he's also a spurs fan and is well placed to make a judgement on bales ability.

Good riddance, second time I've replied to you calling you out on your bs and you can't even reply in a dignified manner. You go on in the Dalglish thread about how no one knows anything about football, yet about 95% of posters disagree with your views, does that strike you as strange in any way? Try an reply to my post this time, k.

Fair point, it's my opinion he is technically gifted, got a sweet left foot and his goal against Man City for example was up there with the best of them. I also think his dribbling and ball control is top notch. It's my opinion though, and I'm going to leave it at that. I don't criticise other people's opinions on this thread. That's me done with this thread.

You sound like a child to be perfectly honest. First telling everyone you're putting me on ignore - if you're going to do it, then do it ffs, dont be acting precious about it - and now not even backing yourself up. Modric's technical abilities are far better, as are Rooney's, Nani's, Silva's, Mata's and Tevez's to name but a few. Bale is actually very one sided, but hey, you clearly know so much about football, you tell me.
