    hi,

have a simmental cow that always has a big bag. was little lame during week so checked her to make sure it wasnt hard due to summer mastitas.

was very surprised that 4 teats were full of clear free flowing milk. shes not due to calve for another 4 weeks at least and last calf was weaned 3 months ago.

    should i draw her empty?

    fear is-

this milk will cause mastitas if left
    or
will she just keep producing more if milked

    what ye reckon??

    cheers..
