    • Pepe Reina should make his 250th Premier League appearance for Liverpool, becoming the first Spaniard to achieve that feat in the division.
    • Steven Gerrard is one away from 150 goals in all competitions for Liverpool.

This is the extent of a build up that I am willing to give this.

Wigan at 8s looks like value!

Dread to think to be honest, with they be cowed or cut throat?

Didn't Wigan take points off us earlier in the season?

Sorry for all the doom and gloom....

Usually i'm quire optimistic when i watch the reds but these days i don't really get angry when we lose or draw against cannon fodder, i just kind of laugh and say to myself "ah well it's only a blip" when the fact is that it happens now so often that when we win its a surprise.

I think they could get a draw today too :(

I think we will see a convincing Liverpool win today. Maybe 2 or 3 nil with the home team in charge throughout. I also think the performance will have a few praising certain players as having come good only to have the same players go back to average muck for the next five or six games after this one.

Think two from Shelvey, Flanagan and Sterling may be on the bench today. I see Tommo on RAWK has mentioned having the full line up by 13:30. Not sure if anyone keeps an eye on his posts, but he has an uncanny record with the line ups and it is pretty much accepted he is getting them from inside the club as he gets them spot on far too often to be guessing and the weeks when there are a few surprise additions he always has them hours before kick off.

Yep, and then back to normal service next week.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I predict some comments about Kenny's transfer though.

I predict a hard fought but easy in the end 2 nil victory to Liverpool.

    Carroll and Suarez to score.

Seriously though - why? I'm not thrilled with Planet Kenny but I'd sooner not lose any more games like these.

I'd like to see Wigan and Martinez stay up and Liverpool's league campaign is effectively over. They need the points more than we do.

Also, maybe another defeat will finally put paid to the Kenny Dalglish expeirment and we can all move on in the summer.

So your not a liverpool supporter in other words. If you really supported a team you should never ever be happy to see them lose never mind want them to lose.

Then again its not a surprising comment coming from you.

Well, I have become a bit detached from the team as the season has progressed. Will admit to being apathetic about recent results. How could you not? You'd be suicidal if you took things so seriously!!

Wigan can't score for toffee, but they haven't been completely useless in the past few weeks losing only once in the last 6 games. Still, I would expect Liverpool to win this comfortably.

Have £2 on Suarez to nab a hat-trick at 16/1 - think the lad is due a few goals.

My team for today & prediction 4-1 win for LFC

    Reina

    Flanagan Coates Skrtel Enrique

    Spearing Gerrard

    Kuyt Suarez Bellamy

    Carroll

I'd play Kuyt just ahead of Downing for added protection for Flanagan at RB.

Because he's ****? It makes a lot of sense. We've played far better without him in the team.

Apart from Carra for Coates I'm happy enough with that team.

    It's a sh1t formation that doesn't suit the team.

We've played much betteer with 4-4-2 with Carroll and Suarez up front. And Suarez has been poor when he has been played as a lone striker. We should have went with line ups that worked against Everton and Stoke.

    Reina

    Flanagan----Carragher--Skrtel----Enrique

    Spearing

    Henderson---Gerrard

    Kuyt
    Downing

    Suarez
