It would be just about OK but the price is absolutely not.

For this money you'll find plenty Core i3 and probably even the odd Core i5 bargain if you buy online. I wouldn't touch an AMD E-series laptop with a 12 foot bargepole. ;)

Just to give you an idea re the performance difference between the AMD E450 and an entry level Core i3 CPU:

    ... speaks volumes. :D

Btw, APU stands for Accelerated Processing Unit... some jokers they have in their PR department. Seen such a slug recently advertised as "gaming laptop".

Basically, any off-the-rails Core i3 (or i5) will suit your needs. 4 GB RAM is standard and the integrated HD3000 graphics is perfectly capable to play full HD video.

Such machines are widely available for under 500 Euro. Dell, for example. is selling Core i3 Laptops from 450 Euro incl. VAT & delivery (and they're not even the cheapest).

But if you prefer buying in a shop, PC W0RLD have a nice Sammy Core i3 for €519, or this (not so nice) HP Core i3 for 499, just a few Euro more than the cr*ppy Tosh you have been looking at.
