I have been veggie for neigh on 20 years now. My son who is 4 is fed chicken and fish. (An agreement with his dad RIP). A while ago he started complaining that he was being fed different food to the kids in the crèche on certain days.

So I asked the crèche to let me know the menu so I could provide look-a-like food on beef days. Now I can do a decent beef type stew with Quorn 'beef', carrots, parsnip and usual herbs, onions, garlic, veg stock cube, water, barley, lentils, mustard, marmite, tomato puree and bisto granules to brown...................he wouldn't even taste it :(.

Now I know it tastes ok but wee man is having none of it!!! Does anyone have an alternative recipe?
