double week?

    hey lads i normally collect my Supp welfare allowance on fridays! when i went in last friday to collect she said therre was 2 weeks payment there. i was just wondering why this was? maybe because of the monday bank holiday?

    also the extra payment was obviously this weeks payment(the one i should have collected today) so if i am correct there won't be any money there today?

    i just don't understand how a monday bank holiday would affect my payment on the following friday? i could understand if monday was my collection day then i wouldn't be able to collect it obviously

    not complaining just curious :)

    Check the post office. The system has changed for some payments and the SW computer has paid out double payments last week and its a glich in the system. You should have a payment there today as well. SW are trying to sort it out and you may end up paying the overpayment back at a small amount per week, as its their computer mistake.
