Just got in trouble with mobile bought in Germany. Talked to LG Support and seems like LG is not respecting warranty rights for goods bought in the country you don't have address.
SO PLEASE THING TWICE before you buy anything from LG while abroad (except UK).
And remember - if you move to Germany or Spain they will not repair your Ireland-bought equipment too.

EU Consumer Protection regulations should help you here.

I'm sick of this because I had some issues with different companies (seagate, kingstone, oce) and none of them refuse warranty repair as far as I followed some basic rules (proper packaging, device tested before dispatch etc).
There are definitely some brands to be recommended and some not.

Thanks for that - I found already some of this websites, but they all do just advice, not any help with actually fight for your rights. I know my rights - problem is just to get it working.
