I had some long time of crisis/depression but without any help I managed to get the balance right. But I am not sure if I am totally successful because sometimes I have sudden drop of mood. Now I am going through such thing. It is second week when I am skipping college, I have no sense of time. I am keep motivating myself to do things and keep moving forward but it doesn't work or it works but very slowly. I think I need some medication. Could anyone recommend something?
I am awaiting medical card so any GP visits are of the table.

    Thanks!

Perhaps there is a college doctor or counsellor available to you?

Or you could contact one of the groups that help people with depression:

    www.aware.ie

It may not be the most fun phonecall to make, but perhaps if you call the medical card people and explain that you have a pressing medical problem (don't have to give details) they can speed it along. It may be possible to visit with the doctor you've chosen prior to receiving the card if your application has been improved and the hold up is them printing and posting your card.

    Good luck.
