Wasn't really sure where to put this, hope its the right place.
I have the radio 1 app on my Sony Ericsson Xperia play and it seems to stop working(not playing) every so often. I have to go back into the app and refresh to get it work. I have a couple of other radio apps and the same thing happens.

It's the same on a Samsung galaxy Europa too, so what I am doing wrong?.
I listen to it in WiFi and the signal is not dropping.
    Thanks.

Do you mean fm radio or internet radio?

Might not be relevant, but I find the RTE Radio Player on my desktop switches itself off every 15-20 minutes and I have to hit "play" to restart. So it could be a bug with the app if the same issue is repeated, rather than the phone.

Yeah had the clever idea after to google it and according to the app reviews it's just a really unreliable app. Have deleted it now and got tune in radio, still drops but not as often. You would think they would be able to get their radio app to be able to listen to live radio but of course that would be too easy

Sounds like you got weak signal and internet is dropping.

TuneIn shouldn't be dropping anyway so I agree with the signal suggestion

I've found that Newstalk drops out with TuneIn.
Think its a Newstalk issue as havnt run into any other stations dropping
