Got quoted 160 euro from a main dealership.

    Tried ebay, miser-auto.ie and micksgarage.

Anyone know any place that would be cheaper?

Audi window regulators are crap - specially the ones for cars with frameless windows. Im in the process of replacing my second on my Audi A5. Known fault yet audi only paid half on first one when car was only months outside warranty and dont want to know about this one now at under 4 years old. Poor form. Mine is 218 + Vat from dealer so yours is cheap!
You could look around uk breakers for a used one.

Which TT, Mk1 or 2, coupe or corvertible?

Mate ... You should put pressure on Audi. My father in law has an 08 A5 with same problem ... Audi Ireland initially wouldn't do anything but after about a week of hassle he got them done FOC and a minor service thrown in with courtesy A6 for a couple of days

Price sounds about right, had one replaced last week on my Seat but as far as I know it's a generic VAG part. Mechanic said it took him ages to fit, very fiddly.
