I imagine they do accept laser. Only some stations have ticket machines - most tickets are issued by staff.

You can't use credit / debit cards on buses.

The ones at Busaras do, I always use my Laser there.

I bought a ticket with my laser/maestro on a machine in Busáras a few weeks ago - worked fine.
