DC adapter replacement for HP netbook

My son got a HP netbook at Christmas:
    Here is the model: 3000-sa
We've searched the house high and low for the DC adapter.
We reckon it is somewhere in the house as he charged it as late as Tuesday of last week and didn't take it out of the house since.

In any case, my wife is passing PC World in Galway today.
I suspect the DC adapter tip/connection is proprietary (or is it ??)
I've seen those multi-adapter kits before at PC world and Harvey Norman.

Here is what the original DC adapter looks like.
I'd be more inclined to order a replacement (OEM,etc) online but maybe one of those multi/vendor adapters might be a handy thing to have in the house.
Any tips ? (below are links to show part and not advertising..)

Personally i hate those universal chargers.. They're a rip off know people who paid €50 & €80 in harvey norman & currys/pc world. They sometimes are loose at the charging port.. Dont buy one, ebay is your friend;)

Many thanks for that advice Kilian.
I lost my wallet/cancelled my cards/found it again so I've to wait a couple of days before I can make an online purchase but I agree.. tis better to get a purpose built adapter for a more reasonable price online.
