Redundancy

Just a question on redundancy, I've checked redundancy.ie but just wanted a bit more information.

    Eligibility criteria for redundancy payments

In order to be eligible for a statutory redundancy payment, an employee must:
    • Be aged 16 years or over
    • Be in employment and paying PRSI contributions, usually Class A contributions
    • Have worked continuously for the employer for at least 2 years (104 weeks)
    • Have worked continuously for the employer for more than 2 years if working part-time

My question on this is when they say worked continuously does this mean week after week or just without getting your p45 ?

Ive worked a total of 150 weeks since 2008 but its seasonal with up to 6 months breaks and a week which Ive taken holiday pay is this counted as a week worked??

    Thanks for any replies

I changed the way I asked the question as I think I may have been a bit confusing the way I asked it.

pretty sure i means without a break in service so yeah without having been listed as no longer working there for tax reasons etc
