Wouldn't work here, its illegal to 'operate' a mobile phone here whereas the law is slightly different in the UK.

So even with a fully factory integrated handsfree kit it is illegal here to use it?

Nope, as your not supporting a mobile phone with a piece of your body.

He isnt supporting the phone with a piece of his body, He is however supporting it with a rubber band. I think this would test your theory and win.

So the muppets who go around with a BT headset are also breaking the law ?
The amount of twats I see walking around, or in shops or whatever, with those things on, is crazy.
It makes me wanna hit them.

    Haha, love that pic!
I do have a headset, but that's because I have an hour's commute either way and I do make the occasional call. (Home to Germany and my mobile provider's rate to Germany is 1c/min, that's cheaper than Skype)
What I NEVER would do is to wear that headset outside the confines of my car, I even wear it on the ear that is away from the window, so people can't see me wearing it.
AFAIK the law states you cannot support the phone with any part of your body and in any case I would rather stick a pair of fighting weasels down my pants than tape a phone to my head as in the OP.
