I have a lovely 2 furrow fiscars plough which I use very little, just for a garden, Due to not doing much and not greasing the boards have got rust on them. I intend to plough a bit more this year, is there any solution for cleaning the boards before I start?

Brush on some burnt engine oil now. When you go to use the plough, the boards willl polish in a few hours.

flap wheel on a grinder will start the job for you, but a proper shine will really only come from using them.

If you have a beach nearby plough a few furrows in the sand and it will put a shine on the boards you would want to plough a field soon after before salt take effect.
